Customer Challenge

The client had the vision to create a social media platform to create and accelerate the dream of people. He believes, the mobile app helps users to pursue and achieve their boldest aspirations. On the dream app users identify their dreams, as well as the actions and timelines for achieving them. On the dream app's dashboard, several categories of dreams appear and are shared in a feed where dreamers inspire one another, like, comment, and provide the connections that help make dreams become real, creating a community, and a world of dreamers and doers. Within one's own dream profile, the app alerts and notifies users reminding them to take action which helps hold oneself accountable for their own progress and success.

Solutions

As a team of Third Rock Techkno, we understand the client’s vision first and then we started requirement gathering. We studied the topmost social media apps and make a list of common and basic features list of social media app. We agreed with the client to create an app with features like feed, like, post, share, comment, block a user, etc. We also need to take care of the client’s budget and launch date. After all the study and considering requirements we decide to use the IONIC framework as mobile app development, and we created a hybrid app for ios and android. To speed up backend work we decide to use Node js. It took 2 months for Third Rock Techkno to release the first version on play store and iTunes.

Result

What’s even more exciting is to witness the spike in motivation among students who begin working in their dreams and the progress they make, not only towards their dreams on the app but the impact it has on their performance and motivation everywhere else.
